Stress Relief For You Who Make Money From Home

In our lives as entrepreneurs, we often find ourselves so busy trying to make money from home, that we often forget to take care of ourselves.  With the long hours sometimes associated with being successful, we often find ourselves stressed and worn out.

 

Nonetheless, we need to keep in mind why we chose to make money from home in the first place. It was to have control of our lives, and be our own bosses. As a result, we need to also make sure that we take measures to minimize the stress, and remain healthy.

 

Personally, I find that by ensuring that I indulge in at least one of the following during my week, I have a tendency to be happy and virtually stress free.

 

1. Keep it simple. Do not make your life more complicated than it has to be by stressing over things that you cannot control.

2. Engage daily in a hobby which allows you to relax and take a break. My hobby of choice is forty-five minutes of exercise on the elliptical. Not only is it a break from work, but it keep my mind sharp and my body trim.

3. Put on your favorite song(s), turn them up load, and dance your a*s off.

4. At the end of the day, light up some aroma therapy candles or oils, and allow all of your senses to relax for 15-30 minutes.

5. Watch your favorite programming when all of the work is completed for the day.

6. Set yourself up with attainable daily goals. Once you goals have been attained for the day, you know that you can now relax going into tomorrow. This is one of the best strategies to keeping you on task, giving you a daily sense of accomplishment, and virtually eliminating any home business related stress that you would otherwise take to bed with you.

7. For the ladies, trying having a manicure and pedicure done.

8. How about your favorite movie? You know the one that never fails to make you laugh, cry and/or smile.

9. Another great idea is to get on the Internet, and read the daily celebrity gossip. If you think you have it bad, just look at their lives and you will feel better almost instantly.

10. Do you have a good friend who has been on your mind but you have not spoken to recently? If so, pick up the phone and give them a call. You will not believe how much of a lift this can provide you with. Good times!

11. Not surprisingly, the number one stress reliever is to plan a vacation. Yes, simply planning, and then of course going on a vacation, can provide a world of comfort.

12. If you are a gamer, you do not want to spend too much time on this, but just like your favorite television show or movie, your favorite video game is also a great way to blow off some steam if you make money from home.
